Fun Mini Pizzas
Fun Mini Pizzas
These fun mini pizzas are a great way to get the kids involved with cooking. They can be as creative as they like, and most of the time when kids make it themselves they are more likely to eat it (in theory!)
Ingredients
- Pizza dough - Refer link below
- Black Olives - 1 sliced
- Green Olives - 1 sliced
- Red Capsicum - 2 sliced long piece and small piece
- Yellow Capsicum - 2 sliced long piece and small piece
- Cherry Tomato - 1
- Salami - 1/2 slice
- Herb Sprigs - Few
- Bacon - 15g cut in strips
- Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons
- Mozzarella cheese - 60g
Instructions
Prepare your Pizza dough. Recipe can be found here. It is a super easy 2 ingredient recipe and the best pizza base I have tasted. Yes!
- Preheat oven to 220 degrees
- Once you have your dough ready to go, add the tomato paste to the top and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle cheese across the top of both bases. Normally you would put the cheese on last but we want the faces to stand out on the pizzas. It all still tastes the same.
- Start creating the faces - olives for eyes, cherry tomato for nose, capsicum and salami for mouth, capsicum for hair bow and bacon for hair. You can be as creative as you like!
- Pop in the oven for 20 minutes until the cheese has melted and started to brown.
- Cool before serving to kids.
- Enjoy!
