Quick and Easy ANZAC Slice
Anzac Slice
This quick and easy ANZAC slice makes a perfect afternoon tea snack and a great hit all year round!
Ingredients
- Brown Sugar - 1 cup
- Self Raising Flour - 1 1/4 cups
- Butter - 150g
- Golden Syrup - 2 tablespoons
- Rolled oats - 1 cup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius
- Line a slice tray with baking paper, we use 22 or 29cm tray.
- Place butter and syrup in a microwavable bowl and pop on hight for 2 minutes, stiring half way through, you want it to be a smooth runny consitency.
- Place all other ingredients in a mixing bowl
- Add butter mix to the bowl and combine well.
- Pop mixture onto tray and smooth out evenly
- Bake for 25 - 30 minutes until golden brown on top.
