Basic Scones

This basic scones recipe is perfect for those just getting into baking! The key is not to overwork the dough when shaping the scones as this will make the scones rock hard and very dense. The perfect thing about this basic recipe is that you’ll be able to add any toppings you like! Dried fruit, chocolate chips, or even a little parmesan and chives, throw in whatever you like just before the dough is formed!
